About Matching Sets

Women’s matching sets and co-ord sets exist because some mornings have no time for a second negotiation. You want two pieces that already share a cloth and a color, so the outfit is decided when the hanger comes off the rail. LAV & DC cuts sets the way we cut everything else: easy shoulders, a working palette, and a second life when you split them.

This page is not a costume rack of identical twins you can never separate. The espresso tailored set is a jacket and trouser in the same wool — a suit if you need one, two workhorses if you do not. The charcoal wide-leg set does the same in a quieter grey. The navy and ivory merino sets pretend to be dresses, then feed the week as a top and a skirt. Linen and sand travel sets are for warm cities and carry-ons. The cream bow set is the vintage-leaning lunch. The wine knit co-ord is the one deep color.

Search language here is practical: matching sets, co-ord sets, two-piece outfits for women. We are not inventing a brand word. We are answering the woman who wants the photograph of a complete idea and the wardrobe math of separates. If a set cannot be worn apart by the second week, it is a weaker set.

How this differs from Workwear and Blazers: those pages include the same jackets and trousers as individual SKUs. Matching Sets is only the paired product — one price, one decision, one shipment. If you already own the Espresso Wool Blazer, you do not need the espresso set unless you want the trouser in the identical cloth without hunting.

Start with the set that matches your week. A client-heavy calendar: espresso or charcoal. A travel week: sand or stone linen. A closet that needs one complete outfit and two extras: the ivory knit set. Then read the Capsule Wardrobe page if you are trying to stop buying almost-right pairs that do not speak to each other.

Questions

FAQ

Do your matching sets have to be worn together?

No. Every set is cut so the top and bottom can enter the rest of the wardrobe. Together they are a shortcut; apart they are two pieces.

Are these the same as a suit?

The espresso and charcoal sets behave like suits. The linen, merino, and bow sets are co-ords — lighter, and closer to business casual or weekend.

How should I choose a size in a set?

Size for the piece that must fit first, usually the trouser or skirt. Email us if you need the two halves in different sizes; we will say what is possible on that SKU.
