About New In

New In is where LAV & DC shows what has just arrived — not a holding pen for whatever is leftover from last season. If you search for new clothing arrivals or new in women’s clothing, you are usually looking for pieces that feel current without asking you to rebuild your closet. That is the job of this page.

Each drop is edited against the same test: will this piece sit next to a blazer, a fluid blouse, a merino knit, and a relaxed tailored trouser you already own? We do not chase micro-trends. We introduce a new neckline, a new weight of wool, or a color that deepens the palette — Bordeaux beside espresso, stone beside ivory, camel as the coat that makes everything else look finished.

You will find new women’s dresses beside new work jackets, because that is how a week is actually dressed. A sand linen dress for a warm Friday. A cropped stone blazer for offices that have loosened the dress code without loosening the standard. A trench that earns its place for three seasons. A knit set that splits into two useful halves after the first week.

Shop New In if you want to see the latest cut of our point of view. Then move into Workwear or Capsule Wardrobe if you are building rather than adding. The newest piece should make the older ones work harder, not make them feel dated. That is how a wardrobe stays intelligent.

Arrivals are photographed and written as themselves, not as a generic “new edit.” Each product page carries fabric, color, and the collections it also belongs to, so you can step from a new blazer into Blazers & Tailoring or from a new dress into Office Dresses without losing the thread. If you only have five minutes, start here; if you are rebuilding a closet, do not stop here.

Questions

FAQ

How often does LAV & DC add new arrivals?

We release small edits rather than large seasonal dumps — typically a focused drop each month, with new colors and fabrics joining existing silhouettes first.

Are new-in pieces limited?

Yes. Most new styles are cut in small quantities. If a piece becomes a wardrobe constant, we recut it rather than overproducing the first run.

Do new arrivals include workwear?

Almost always. Our calendar follows real working weeks, so new-in usually includes at least one tailored piece, one blouse or knit, and one dress.
